The ASHU hop-up chamber by Airsoft Systems (Generation 3) is an innovative component designed for M4/M16/AR-15 series electric airsoft (AEG) replicas. Its distinctive feature is the ability to detect when the magazine is empty and automatically stop firing.
Empty Magazine Detection Function:
- This function is only active when the ASHU hop-up chamber is used in combination with an ASCU (Airsoft Systems Control Unit) electronic control unit of the second (Gen 2) or third generation (Gen 3+).
- When the last BB is chambered, a mechanism sends a signal to the ASCU, which prevents the replica from dry-firing.
- This significantly increases realism (simulating the operation of real firearms, such as the Systema PTW) and offers a tactical advantage, preventing you from "shooting blanks" and revealing that you have run out of rounds during an engagement.
