FLAT TYPE (soft) hop-up bucking by Prometheus/LayLax for AEGs. No traditional internal mound ("hop-mound") design. Designed for use with Prometheus Flat-Hop Tensioners. Offers performance similar to an R-Hop, but with greater simplicity and reliability. Hardness similar to the popular Prometheus Purple. Ideal for power levels from 0.8 to 2 Joules and BBs from 0.20g to 0.43g.

This FLAT TYPE (soft/blue) hop-up bucking from Prometheus/LayLax is an upgrade component designed to improve the performance of electric airsoft guns (AEGs). It is a flat-hop bucking, meaning it lacks the traditional internal protrusion ("hop-mound") that applies the hop-up effect to the BB.

Main Features:

Flat-Hop Design: Does not have the traditional internal protrusion. The hop-up effect is applied by a special, flat and long tensioner (Prometheus Flat-Hop Tensioners, not included), which distributes pressure more evenly on the BB.
Performance similar to an R-Hop: When installed correctly, this bucking offers performance similar to that of an R-Hop system (an advanced hop-up modification that maximizes accuracy and range), but with:
- Lower cost.
- Less complex installation.
- Greater reliability (no parts to glue).
Material: Made of blue rubber, with a hardness similar to that of the popular Prometheus Purple bucking (APPROX. 60°).
Compatibility: Compatible with most AEG inner barrels and hop-up units, but modifications may be necessary due to the different dimensions and tolerances between manufacturers.
Spring / Power Compatibility: from 0.8 up to 2 Joules
