This spring guide rod by Retro Arms is a replacement part for the spring guide rod used in gearbox version 2 (V2) and version 3 (V3) of electric airsoft replicas (AEG). It is therefore compatible with a wide range of replicas, such as those of the M4/M16 (V2) and AK (V3) series, but also with other models that use these types of gearbox.
Made of steel, this spring guide rod ensures the correct tension necessary for the proper functioning of the spring guide rod, which in turn feeds the BBs into the hop-up chamber. Replacing a worn or damaged spring guide rod with this Retro Arms replacement part restores the correct functioning of the mechanism.
