This REINFORCED tappet plate spring by MEC, developed and tested by PTS, is a component designed to solve BB feeding issues that can occur when using high-capacity mid-cap magazines with electric airsoft replicas (AEGs). It is especially recommended for use with PTS EPM1 and EPM1-S magazines, which are known for their high capacity.
Mid-cap magazines, unlike hi-caps, do not have a winding wheel and rely entirely on the internal spring to push the BBs. When the magazine capacity is very high, the spring must exert greater force, and this can put a strain on the tappet plate and its spring, causing feeding problems (misfires).
This reinforced spring, made of stainless steel, offers greater strength than standard springs, ensuring reliable feeding even with very high-capacity Mid-Cap magazines. It is compatible with most version 2 (V2) and version 3 (V3) gearboxes.
