Prevention and Home Safety:
Modern lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries offer exceptional performance for our replicas, but their chemistry makes them sensitive to impacts, overloads, and heat. If a cell fails, the risk of a violent fire is real. The LiPo Guard bag by Nimrod Tactical acts as a containment barrier: its layers of fireproof fabric block the propagation of flames and reduce the emission of toxic gases in the event of an explosion, protecting your home, your car, and your equipment.
Smart Design for Charging:
This bag in Large size (18x23 cm) offers enough space to comfortably hold multiple batteries at the same time during transport. The large top flap closes securely with a high-strength Velcro strip. The detail that makes the difference is the presence of small side windows/slots: these allow the charger cables to pass to the outside while keeping the bag completely sealed and closed for the entire duration of the charging.
Never let your guard down (Golden rules): The fireproof bag works wonders, but it is not indestructible! As the warning printed directly on the bag says: never leave batteries charging unattended. Also, be sure to place the LiPo Bag on a non-flammable surface (such as a ceramic floor, a metal table, or a glass plate) during charging, never on the sofa, on the bed, or near curtains and carpets!
The importance of the cable passage: Often you see people putting the battery in the bag but leaving the top flap completely open to allow the charger cables to pass through. This is a very serious mistake! If the battery catches fire, the flames will come directly out of the opening. Use the convenient side Velcro slots to run the cables out and always seal the main flap tightly.
Also use it for transport: Do not limit the use of the LiPo Bag only to the time of charging. When you go to play and leave spare batteries in the car under the scorching sun, or when you store them in the closet for months between games, always keep them closed inside this bag.
