Wide Field of View and Compatibility:
The single-hole design is the preferred choice of many operators and airsoft players. The wide horizontal opening leaves the peripheral view completely free and, more importantly, allows you to easily wear any type of ballistic glasses (even those with thicker frames) or protective mesh mask without the balaclava fabric awkwardly overlapping the lenses or edges.
Pure Cotton for Maximum Comfort:
When you wear a garment in direct contact with your face for hours, the material makes the difference between a pleasant game and a nightmare. Defcon 5 has chosen 100% pure cotton, abandoning cheap synthetic fibers. This guarantees excellent breathability, rapid sweat absorption, and, above all, prevents skin irritation and itching typical of acrylic materials, keeping the skin dry and comfortable.
The Ultimate Lightweight Under-Helmet Liner:
With a thickness reduced to a minimum and a feather-light weight of only 50 grams (0.05 Kg), this balaclava is literally imperceptible once worn. It was designed to work in perfect synergy with modern tactical helmets (Fast Helmet, Mich, etc.) and communication systems (active headsets), avoiding the formation of painful pressure points on the operator's skull or ears.
Versatility of the single hole: If you start to get hot during an intense game or need to catch your breath after a sprint, the single hole is very convenient. Just grab the bottom edge of the opening and pull it under your nose or under your chin. In an instant, you will have cleared your airways without having to remove your helmet and glasses.
Stop fogging: If you play on very humid days and your glasses fog up easily, use this trick: slightly lower the bottom edge of the balaclava hole so that only your nostrils are uncovered. This way, the warm breath will be expelled downwards, away from the lenses of your glasses!
Cold wash: It's 100% cotton, so the golden rule doesn't change. Don't put it in the washing machine at 60 degrees and forget about the dryer, otherwise it will shrink drastically. Wash it cold or at a maximum of 30°C and let it air dry. Being so thin, it will take very little time to dry!
