A Tactical Gear Classic:
Inspired by the traditional head coverings used in arid desert environments, the Shemagh (also known as a Keffiyeh) has been adopted by Armed Forces and PMC operators worldwide for its incredible utility. This version produced by Invader Gear respects the tradition, offering a robust, ample garment capable of adapting to any operational scenario, from dense woodland to urban environments.
Natural Comfort in 100% Cotton:
The choice of material is fundamental for a garment that must be in close contact with the face and neck. Invader Gear has opted for 100% pure cotton, abandoning synthetic fibers. This guarantees exceptional breathability in the hot months, absorbing sweat without irritating the skin, while providing excellent thermal insulation against the icy wind during winter games.
Limitless Versatility:
There is no single way to wear a Shemagh. With a few simple knots, it can transform into a complete balaclava that leaves only the eyes uncovered, a thick neck warmer to cushion blows, a sun bandana, or a dust mask to protect the respiratory tract. Furthermore, the typical contrasting geometric pattern is formidable for confusing human vision and blending into vegetation.
Neck Armor: In airsoft, the neck is one of the most sensitive and painful points to receive a BB, especially in close-quarters CQB. Instead of using rigid and uncomfortable neoprene protectors, fold the Shemagh into a triangle and wrap it tightly (making multiple turns) around the base of the neck. The thick cotton will absorb the impact of the BB, saving you from nasty bruises, while leaving you with complete freedom to turn your head.
Weapon Concealment: If you are playing the sniper role and do not have time to prepare the rifle's camouflage, spread the Shemagh over the scope and barrel. It will immediately break up the black silhouette of the weapon and prevent annoying sunlight reflections on the lenses that could reveal your position to the enemy.
Washing Attention! This is real colored cotton. Especially during the first wash, it may release some excess color. Always wash it at a maximum of 30°C (if you wash it in water that is too hot, you risk shrinking it, ruining its dimensions) and, for the first washes, I recommend washing it alone or with very dark garments to avoid accidents in the washing machine!
