Cotton Quality and Comfort:
What makes this Shemagh different is the weave of the fabric. Mil-Tec has selected a 100% pure cotton with a soft and "not too processed" yarn, which gives back to the touch that raw but comfortable feeling typical of original military equipment. This weave guarantees exceptional heat retention in winter, while maintaining the breathability needed to avoid suffocating when used to protect from the scorching sun in summer.
Oversized Dimensions (110x110 cm):
Compared to classic tactical scarves of one square meter, the extra 10 centimeters per side of this model (110 x 110 cm) incredibly expand the possibilities of use. You have more material available to create thick wraps around the neck, firmer knots, or to completely cover the head and face, creating a complete balaclava that doesn't "pull" and doesn't come loose during sudden movements.
Operational Versatility:
Born for arid operational theaters, this Sand-colored Shemagh is a true multi-tool. In addition to being used as a scarf or headgear, its width allows it to be used as an emergency cloth to hide shiny equipment, as a triangular first aid bandage, to filter water from macro-debris, or simply to complete a PMC (Private Military Contractor) setup with an unmistakable look.
The "Jolly" color par excellence: The pure sand color (without overly invasive black patterns) is formidable for camouflage. It's not just for desert setups! Use it in the woods in the middle of autumn: it will blend perfectly with the dry leaves on the ground. Furthermore, being solid color, it breaks up the uniformity of very dark camos very well, creating contrast and confusing the opponent's view.
The Bulletproof "Collar": Thanks to the generous dimensions of 110x110, if you fold the Shemagh into a triangle and roll it on itself, you create a considerable thickness. Wrap it tightly (but without choking yourself!) at the base of the neck: it will become a soft collar capable of absorbing the energy of any BB fired from close range in CQB, saving you from very painful bruises.
Treat it well at the first wash: The cotton of this Mil-Tec is fantastic precisely because it is not treated with heavy industrial chemicals. To keep it soft over time and prevent it from shrinking, losing the precious extra 10 centimeters, wash it cold (maximum 30°C) and NEVER use the dryer. Hang it outdoors and it will be perfect again.
