The weapon's body, barrel shroud, folding bipod, sights, and controls are made of robust stamped steel. To complete the aesthetic masterpiece, there is the real wood stock and high-density polymer grips, bringing the scale to an ultra-realistic weight of over 10 kilograms.
Premium CNC Mechanics and Quick-Release Barrel:
Under the steel body beats a hi-tech heart. The custom Gearbox is an engineering work of art: it has been CNC-milled from a single block of aluminum, guaranteeing stress resistance unattainable for normal die-castings. It runs on massive 10mm bearing bushings, ideal for supporting prolonged saturation fire in Full-Auto mode. Just like the real counterpart, the GMG42 is equipped with a quick barrel release system, which, in addition to guaranteeing unparalleled realism, allows you to extract the inner barrel and hop-up unit in a few seconds for maintenance.
Inexhaustible Firepower:
The weapon comes with the replica of the classic "Gurttrommel", an automatic electric-rewind drum magazine with a huge capacity of 1700 BBs. To maximize the scenic impact on the playing field or in the display case, G&G also includes a decorative belt of fake 7.92mm caliber bullets to be inserted into the feed tray.
