Inspired by the most modern Designated Marksman Rifles (DMR) in 7.62 NATO caliber, the G&G TR80 is a platform created from scratch to excel in precision shooting. The construction is robust and functional, with metal receivers, an aluminum M-LOK handguard with monolithic upper rail, and almost completely ambidextrous controls. Every detail is designed for the shooter's role, starting with the incredible GOS-V12 stock, which is not only foldable and retractable, but also offers cheek rest adjustment and an extendable monopod for maximum stability.
THE GEARBOX REVOLUTION: THE G3 SYSTEM
The TR80 is equipped with G&G's innovative G3 Gearbox, a "Split" system that separates the cylinder group from the gear set. This offers enormous advantages:
- Simplified Maintenance: Accessing the internal components for cleaning or replacing the spring (Quick Change system) is incredibly quick and easy.
- Superior Realism: The system includes an empty magazine lock function. Once the BBs are finished, the rifle stops firing and it will be necessary to press the bolt release after inserting a new magazine, just like in a real firearm.
PROGRAMMABLE ELECTRONICS WITH REMOTE CONTROL
The ETU 2.0 electronic control unit with integrated MOSFET is fully programmable via a convenient remote control included in the package. You can customize the firing modes and other advanced functions without having to fiddle with the trigger. The mechanics are powered by the powerful G&G Ifrit 25K motor, for a crisp and instant trigger response.
