The Base Shina (Side Rail Plate) produced by SRC is the necessary interface to mount optics and side rails on AK series platforms. Made entirely of metal, this plate features the classic birdcage profile that accepts quick attach points for optics like PSO, PK-A, or Picatinny side rail adapters.

Usage and Installation:
This component is ideal in two scenarios:

Replacement (Spare Part): Perfect for replacing the damaged or wobbly original rail on already prepped rifles.
Customization: To install it on AK receivers lacking the factory rail. Attention: In this case, installation is not immediate; modifications to the rifle (drilling of the body) and the use of specific hardware or rivets are definitely necessary. It is recommended to have a skilled technician intervene.
