This Side Mount produced by Pirate Arms is the simple and robust solution to equip your Kalashnikov with modern aiming systems.

Installation and Function:
Made entirely of metal, the bracket installs on the side rails (often called "Shina" or dovetail) present on the bodies of AK47 and AK74 models. Once fixed, it creates a standard Weaver / Picatinny top rail perfectly aligned above the bolt cover, ideal for mounting Red Dots, Holographic sights, or scopes.

Adjustable System:
Since the side rails of airsoft rifles can vary slightly in thickness depending on the manufacturer, this mount is equipped with an adaptable locking mechanism. You can tighten or loosen the adjustment screw to ensure that the mount is perfectly secure and free of play on any replica.
