The MFR XL (Modular Float Rail) handguard is designed to be lightweight, robust, and incredibly versatile, despite its ultra-compact size. Its "free float" construction in 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, with a hard-anodized finish, ensures maximum stability and precision, without interfering with the barrel.

OPTIMIZED DESIGN FOR SUPPRESSORS

The real strength of this "XL" design is its increased inner diameter of 1.61 inches (40.8 mm). This generous space is specifically designed to allow the installation of most suppressors or "muzzle brake" devices partially inside the handguard, for an integrated look and a shorter, more aggressive profile, ideal for PDW builds.

"BOLT-UP" MOUNTING SYSTEM

Installation is rock-solid thanks to Daniel Defense's patented "Bolt-Up Mounting System," which securely anchors the handguard to the receiver via a robust steel nut, eliminating any play or rotation.
