Quick-Drying Rip-Stop Fabric:
Forget the old heavy cotton caps that stay soaked in sweat for hours. This Baseball Cap is constructed with the same Rip-Stop fabric (65% cotton / 35% polyester) used for modern combat uniforms (Combat Shirts and pants). This fiber mix guarantees incredible tear resistance and ultra-fast drying, keeping your head protected from the sun and ventilated, whether it's a hot day or in light rain.
3 Velcro Tactical Configuration:
On-field identification is crucial. For this reason, Invader Gear has equipped the cap with three distinct hook-and-loop panels (female velcro): a large front panel for unit or morale patches, an elongated rear panel perfect for the nametape (the strip with the name or blood type), and a small square top panel on the dome.
Free Adjustment and Low Profile:
The cap features a 6-panel design without the annoying top metal button (which would cause pain if crushed by shooting headphones or helmets). The size is easily adjustable via a sturdy Velcro strap positioned on the nape, which allows you to adapt the cap to any circumference in seconds.
The mystery of the top velcro: Many wonder what that little square of velcro on top of the head is for. In civilian use it's for nothing, but in the tactical field it's vital! It is used to apply "Glint Tape" or IR (Infrared) markers. In this way, allied drones or operators with night vision goggles who are in an elevated position will immediately recognize you as a friend (IFF - Identify Friend or Foe).
Shooting headphones without pain: If you go to the shooting range, this is the ultimate hat. Civilian baseball caps almost always have a metal or hard plastic button right on top of the dome. If you put the headband of shooting headphones (like Peltor) on it, after half an hour you will get a terrible headache. The design of this Invader Gear replaces the button with soft velcro, eliminating pressure points!
Washing and care of the visor: Being in polycotton it washes very well, but be careful: never put it in the washing machine and especially do not use the dryer! The core of the visor could be irreparably deformed. If it is dirty with mud or sweat, soak it in lukewarm water with a little neutral soap, give it a gentle brush and let it dry in the shade. It will be as good as new.
