The Maple Leaf MR. HOP ("Maximum Range") bucking is designed to take the performance of GBB pistols and VSR-10 rifles to the next level. Thanks to the internal design that replicates the R-Hop effect, it guarantees superior range and accuracy with heavy BBs.
- MR Technology: Increased contact surface (native R-Hop effect).
- Compatibility: Standard VSR-10, GBB hop-up units and inner barrels (Marui/WE/KJ).
- Specific Use: Optimized for heavy BBs (0.28g and up).

The Maple Leaf MR. HOP bucking represents the ultimate evolution for standard VSR and GBB (Gas Blowback) type Hop-Up systems. The acronym "MR" stands for Maximum Range, and the goal of this component is to offer the performance of a handmade R-Hop modification in a "Drop-in" product that can be installed without modifications.
The Native "R-Hop" Effect
Unlike traditional buckings that have a pinpoint contact point, the MR. HOP features a wide, flat and shielded ("Shield" shape) contact surface inside. This design better wraps the BB and applies a more stable and prolonged rotation. The result is the ability to effectively lift heavy BBs (recommended from 0.28g upwards) to obtain flat trajectories and significantly increased ranges.
Airtight Seal
Derived from the "Transformer" series, the MR. HOP also maintains the external groove for the installation of the steel sealing ring (C-Ring) (included). This ensures that the bucking seals perfectly against the air nozzle, preventing air leaks that would cause power drops.
Hardness Selection Guide:
- 50° (Green): Ideal for standard gas pistols, cold climates or power outputs below 1 Joule (< 330 FPS).
- 60° (Yellow): The perfect compromise. Ideal for most pistols, GBB rifles and VSRs up to 1.2/1.3 Joule (330-400 FPS).
- 70° (Light Blue): Hard compound for high-powered Sniper VSR configurations or high-power rifles (> 400 FPS).
