Frameless Design and Military Protection:
The Vision Type-N by Mechanix Wear are designed for those who accept no compromises. The frameless structure eliminates annoying peripheral blind spots, offering an absolutely clear 180-degree view. Despite the feather-light weight of only 80 grams, the thick polycarbonate lenses boast a superior beveled edge for extra protection and meet the rigorous civil impact standards (ANSI Z87.1) and military ballistic safety (MIL-PRF 32432), easily withstanding high-energy BBs or splinters on the range.
Goodbye Fogging and Total Comfort:
Sweat and fog are the number one enemies in airsoft. Mechanix has applied an advanced anti-fog coating to these glasses that dissipates condensation six times faster than traditional base treatments. To ensure that the glasses do not slip during running or sudden movements, the temple tips and nose bridge are coated in soft Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR), which ensures a perfect grip even on sweaty skin, offering prolonged comfort for the duration of the game.
Anti-Fog Treatment Maintenance: Mechanix Type-N lenses have a very high-level anti-fog treatment spread on the internal surface. Never dry clean them by rubbing them with dirty gloves or dusty shirts! This would scratch the chemical patina, ruining the anti-fog effect forever. At the end of the game, wash them under lukewarm running water, shake them to drop the droplets, and dry them by gently dabbing with a clean microfiber cloth.
The advantage of "Frameless" with Headphones: If you use active communication headsets (like Peltor or Earmor) or helmets with many straps, frameless glasses are a godsend. The flat and thin TPR temples of this model fit perfectly under the earcups without crushing the temples, saving you from terrible headaches after 4 hours of play.
Which color to choose? If you play in a dense forest (woodland) the Amber lens will change your life: it will make the outlines "stand out" and illuminate the shaded areas, allowing you to see the hidden enemy camos. If you play in mixed urban arenas (inside/outside), play it safe with the Clear lens. The Black lens is fantastic, but only use it in very sunny open fields (e.g. quarries or desert).
