Increased Capacity and CO2 Power:
If you own the fantastic EMG ARK 17 pistol, you know how fast its firing cycle is. Having spare magazines is essential. This original magazine offers you a capacity of 25 BBs, higher than the average of classic GBB pistols, guaranteeing you a prolonged volume of fire. The power supply via 12g CO2 cartridges ensures a crisp recoil and consistent performance even in harsh winter temperatures, where normal Green Gas would struggle.
"Speed-Pull" Quick-Draw Baseplate:
Details make the difference on the battlefield. The polymer base (baseplate) of this magazine is not flat and slippery like standard ones, but features two prominent enlarged and knurled side wings. This ergonomic feature, typical of Strike Industries custom designs, provides you with a solid and secure grip point. Whether you are extracting the magazine from a rigid magazine pouch or a fabric pouch, the extraction will be lightning-fast and without hesitation.
How do you insert the CO2? Nothing could be simpler! The beautiful baseplate with the side wings should not be forced from below: just slide it forward (towards the front of the magazine) to reveal the lower screw cap. At that point, insert the 12g cartridge into the side compartment, use the supplied Allen wrench to firmly tighten the cap until you feel the canister pierce, and close the sliding baseplate!
Save the seal (Silicone Oil): CO2 shoots hard but freezes and dries out the seals. Before inserting the cartridge and piercing it, ALWAYS remember to put a micro-drop of silicone oil directly on the tip of the CO2 canister. In this way, with each shot you will lubricate the main O-Ring, greatly extending the life of the magazine!
Pay attention to how you remove the cartridge! At the end of Sunday, NEVER leave the cartridge pressurized in the magazine. But there is a golden rule: never unscrew the Allen screw if the canister is still half full! The gas would come out violently, freezing and destroying the seal (O-Ring) on the spot. The correct procedure is to empty the capsule by dry-firing (without BBs) until you feel that the weapon has lost power and the pressure is at zero. Only then can you unscrew the cap with the Allen wrench and extract the canister in total safety!
