If you're a Mil-Sim (Military Simulation) enthusiast or love to faithfully recreate the setups of real operators (Reenactment), you know that a normal civilian radio attached to your tactical gear clashes terribly. WST has solved the problem by replicating the iconic shapes of the FCS MPU5, complete with its characteristic multiple antennas. With its matte black body and realistic dimensions, once inserted into the radio pouch of your tactical vest, it will make your equipment look incredibly professional and "Real Steel".
Hollow Shell (Hide Your Radio):
Aesthetics meet functionality. This Dummy Radio opens up, revealing a large internal compartment (approximately 189 x 52 x 25 mm). It's the perfect space to slip in the most commonly used transceivers in the airsoft world (such as the classic Baofeng UV-5R, Midland, or similar). There are top exit holes to pass the real antenna and the cable of your PTT (Push-To-Talk), allowing you to communicate with your team while the real radio remains safe and invisible inside the protective shell.

Pro Tips
Will my radio fit? Check the measurements! The inside of the shell measures approximately 189x52x25mm. It is designed to accommodate the vast majority of civilian portable radios (such as the Baofeng UV-5R). Before purchasing, take a ruler and measure your transmitter (without the antenna) to be 100% sure that it can fit comfortably and allow the shell to close!
The Foam Trick: Being a standardized compartment, some thinner radios may "rattle" inside the MPU5 shell while you run, making noise. The pro trick? Cut out a couple of squares of foam or neoprene and insert them on the sides or behind your real radio before closing the dummy MPU5. By doing so, the real radio will be perfectly wedged, still, and further protected from bumps!
Cable Management: To take advantage of this Dummy Radio, we strongly recommend using a PTT system with headphones (e.g. Bowman or Comtac). Once the radio is inserted into the shell, you will no longer be able to physically press the side button to talk! Connect the PTT jack, run it out of the top holes of the dummy MPU5 and you will be 100% operational.
