These LOWA laces use a special mixed construction of polyester and cotton. This material guarantees extreme tear resistance, resists moisture and, above all, offers that slight elastic "give" that is essential when tightening the knot, accommodating the movements of the instep during walking.

Pro Tips
The Meter Rule (How to choose the size): "Will 165 centimeters be fine for my boots?" It's the question you ask us most often! The golden rule, suggested by LOWA itself, is very simple: before completing the order, remove one of the old laces from your boot and measure it with a meter or tape. If the measurement is around 160-170 cm, this is the perfect product for you!
The Emergency Kit in the Backpack: A broken lace during a 24H or a long Mil-Sim event can literally ruin your weekend, causing blisters or, worse, ankle sprains. Always put a pair of spare laces in a pocket of your backpack. They only weigh 19 grams and don't take up space, but they will save your day when needed!
Use the locking hooks! If your tactical boots have locking hooks in the middle of the instep (very common on Lowa Zephyr or Z-6S models), remember to take advantage of them. They allow you to keep the lace tighter on the toe and slightly softer on the ankle, drastically improving blood circulation on long walks!
