From Special Forces to Airsoft (Absolute Realism):
In real military operations, suppressors reach extreme temperatures. Manta Defense's patented polymer was created to never melt, reducing the thermal (IR) signature and avoiding the "mirage" effect that distorts the optic's view. Bringing this level of technology to your airsoft rifle means showing off a 100% authentic "Real Steel" accessory. The thick ribbed design transforms a mundane aluminum tube into a massive silencer (bringing the outer diameter to approximately 5.7 cm) with an unmistakable look.
Impact Protection and Extreme Modularity:
In addition to the aesthetic factor, the Manta Suppressor Sleeve is a real "bumper" for your replica. If you often play in urban environments (CQB), you know how easy it is to bump the tip of the silencer against walls or door jambs, scratching it irreparably. This thick, rubbery sleeve absorbs every impact. Furthermore, the modular design allows you to join two covers for very long silencers, or easily cut it to size to fit shorter ("Stubby") suppressors.
The Installation Trick (Don't use oil!): Slipping a high-friction polymer sleeve onto a dry metal tube is a titanic undertaking. DO NOT use oil or silicone grease, otherwise the cover will slip off while you play! The official Manta Defense trick is to use a little Alcohol-based Hand Sanitizer. Spread it on the silencer and inside the cover: it will act as a perfect lubricant to make it slide on. After a few minutes, the alcohol will evaporate completely and your cover will be literally glued to the silencer!
My silencer is shorter, what do I do? No problem! The sleeve is almost 18 centimeters long, but the grooved section design is made specifically to be cut. Take a sharp utility knife (cutter) and simply follow one of the internal grooves to shorten the cover to the exact length of your airsoft silencer. You will get a clean and invisible cut.
Diameter Compatibility: This cover is designed for 1.5-inch silencers (i.e. the classic 38mm). In airsoft, the vast majority of standard silencers have a diameter of 35mm, 38mm or 40mm. Thanks to the elastic nature of the Manta polymer, it will adapt perfectly by tightening the grip!
