The NEBO DaVinci 1000 makes no compromises in the dark. At maximum power, it unleashes 1000 real lumens capable of piercing the night up to almost 300 meters away. The true technological heart of this flashlight is the SPC (Smart Power Control) system: when you change lighting modes, the microprocessor creates a smooth transition of the light beam. This avoids annoying sudden glare to the eyes and optimally manages energy consumption, drastically extending battery life.
Extreme Versatility (Zoom and Magnetic Base):
Whether you need to illuminate a large portion of forest or focus the light on a distant target, the adjustable 6x Zoom allows you to narrow or widen the light beam in a fraction of a second. In addition, the bottom of the flashlight hides a powerful magnetic base: you can attach the DaVinci to the car body, a metal pole, or the electrical panel, having a powerful light source and your hands completely free to work or prepare equipment.
The Dial Makes the Difference: Many tactical flashlights have only one button. To get to the low light you have to click, blind yourself with the strong light, go through the strobe and finally stop. With the DaVinci's magnetic dial (Mode Select Dial) you can set the wheel to "Low" or "Strobe" before turning it on. In airsoft, immediately turning on the flashlight in Strobe mode when you enter a room makes the difference between "hitting" and being "hit"!
Use the magnetic base! It seems like a small thing, but if you puncture a car tire at night or need to fix the hop-up of the rifle in the dark on the hood of the car, being able to "glue" the flashlight to the metal and have both hands free is a blessing that will make you thank you for spending the money on this NEBO.
Treat the battery well: The flashlight mounts a fantastic 18650 lithium cell. Like all lithium batteries (e.g. those of cell phones or Li-Po AEGs), never let it discharge to absolute zero by letting it turn off by itself. When you see the light starts to drop noticeably, attach it to its USB cable. Intermediate recharges extend the life of the battery!
