Pro Maintenance Tips

The secret of the spare "AA": Flex-Fuel technology is fabulous, but remember one thing! The AA battery delivers less voltage than the lithium battery. If you use the AA, the flashlight will produce less light (90 Lumen max) but it will literally save your life. Our advice? Always keep the flashlight powered with its rechargeable lithium battery and slip an AA battery into a remote pocket of your backpack as the ultimate emergency resource.

The Magic Clip (Frontal Use): The metal clip of the Redline Flex is bidirectional. This means that in addition to attaching it to your pants pocket, you can slide it onto the visor of your baseball cap! Adding its light weight (only 91 grams) to this trick, you have just transformed your portable flashlight into a very comfortable "headlamp" at no cost!

Correct use of Turbo (40 Seconds): The 450 Lumen Turbo mode is designed as a tactical "Boost". Emitting a lot of heat for such a small flashlight, the integrated circuit automatically turns it off or reduces its intensity after about 40 seconds to protect the internal circuits and prevent you from burning your hands. After the safety seconds have passed, you can easily reactivate it with a double click!
