The Set of 20 Gear Shims 0.15mm (Diameter 3mm) by NGA (Neo Genesis Airsoft) is a high-precision mechanical component. Made of pure hardened stainless steel by CNC laser cutting, these shims guarantee extreme mechanical resistance and total absence of oxidation. The accurate surface deburring eliminates any friction, ensuring micrometric tolerances of +/- 0.005mm. The 0.15mm size is the perfect intermediate piece: it allows you to make micro-corrections impossible with standard sizes, giving you a very clean sound!

Precision Shimming (The Secret of 0.15mm):
Every millimeter counts inside a Gearbox, but absolute perfection is played out in the hundredths. The 0.15mm gauge is the "joker" size par excellence. It is used to compensate for those axial plays where 0.10 is insufficient and 0.20 risks blocking the rotation. This set of 20 pieces by Neo Genesis Airsoft offers you all the material you need for a masterful fine-tuning, aligning sector gears, spur gears and bevel gears for unprecedented mechanical fluidity.
Uncompromising Build Quality:
The difference between a rifle that scratches and one that runs like a Swiss watch lies in the details. NGA manufactures these shims starting from hardened stainless steel sheets of the highest quality, cut with surgical precision by CNC Laser. Each individual shim then undergoes a meticulous deburring process that removes the sharp micro-burrs on the edges, preventing premature wear of the bushings or scratches on the gear. Tolerance guaranteed to the hundredth of a millimeter (+/- 0.005mm) and zero rust over time.
The Micro-Adjustment Trick (0.05mm): Here is the real reason why 0.15mm is the secret of professional tuners. Sometimes you realize that just a "breath" (about 0.05mm) is missing or advanced to close the gear. Producing and assembling a pure 0.05mm shim is risky: it would be as thin as aluminum foil and would disintegrate in the Gearbox. The solution? Replace a 0.10mm shim already inserted with this 0.15mm one (or vice versa)! You will have corrected the error by exactly 0.05mm, maintaining a solid, thick and indestructible disc.
The Art of Combination: Having the 0.15mm shims at hand opens up a world of possibilities for you. By combining a 0.15 shim with a 0.10 one (from the same NGA line) you will obtain a very precise 0.25mm. Thanks to NGA's micrometric tolerances, adding more shims will never create unevenness or misaligned measurements as happens with cheap sets.
Gauge and Calm: Always measure the starting axial play. Carefully insert the shim on the shaft, making sure it goes down parallel and reaches the stop. NGA's steel is very robust, but closing the Gearbox by force with a shim stuck crooked will destroy your bearings at the first trigger pull.
