The original 6-Inch M-LOK SMG Front Kit by Action Army is the ultimate upgrade to transform your AAP-01 gas pistol into a compact and lethal carbine (SMG/PDW). Made of extremely robust 6061 CNC Aluminum, it offers a modern M-LOK attachment system, an upper Picatinny rail, and includes an extended outer barrel set with 14mm CCW threading for the installation of silencers and tracers.

From Pistol to SMG / DMR Carbine:
If your Action Army AAP-01 needs more space for accessories or if you want to transform it into a primary CQB weapon or a marksman (DMR) setup, this conversion kit is the perfect base. By installing this front end, you will get a solid 6-inch (15.2 cm) handguard that radically changes the ergonomics and aesthetics of the replica, giving it a tactical look and perfectly balancing the weight towards the muzzle.
Total Modularity (M-LOK and Picatinny):
The front end is designed to offer you maximum versatility without weighing down the weapon. The upper part is equipped with a classic RIS Picatinny rail along the entire profile, ideal for mounting Red Dots or aiming systems. The sides and the lower part instead use the modern M-LOK system, allowing you to attach torches, lasers or vertical grips while keeping the handguard smooth, slim and comfortable to grip where there are no accessories mounted.
Prepared for Tracers and Precision Inner Barrels:
The kit is not just an aesthetic shell. It includes an adapter for the barrel and an extended aluminum outer barrel. This allows you to hide a much longer precision inner barrel inside to increase range and accuracy, and to take advantage of the standard 14mm Counter-Clockwise (CCW) front thread to screw on any silencer, compensator or tracer unit on the market.
Space for the Inner Barrel: Thanks to this increased front end, the ideal configuration involves the installation of a precision inner barrel (Tightbore) significantly longer than the original one. We recommend combining an inner barrel from about 150mm up to 200mm to make the most of the kit length, drastically improving the grouping at medium distances. Always remember to fix the adapter to the pistol barrel using a drop of blue (medium) threadlocker on the structural screws to prevent loosening due to vibrations!
The Perfect Combo: Transforming the front of the pistol is just the first step! To really take advantage of this front end and dominate the field, we strongly suggest combining it with the Action Army Folding Stock for AAP-01 (which you can always find in our store). You will then have a complete, very stable and lethal SMG platform.
Attachment Matters (M-LOK): Attention to newbies! Remember that the sides of this handguard use M-LOK slots and not the old Picatinny rails. To mount torches or vertical grips, make sure your accessories have a direct M-LOK attachment, or you will need to purchase small segments of adapter rail (M-LOK to Picatinny) to be screwed into the slots.
