Built to withstand heavy use without sacrificing mobility, the Combat Shirt TIGER uses a hybrid structure. The torso is made of a soft and stretchy fabric (92% cotton, 8% elastane) that adheres to the body like a second skin, facilitating the expulsion of sweat under tactical gear. The sleeves and shoulders, the areas most exposed to wear and rubbing, are instead made of a tough RipStop anti-tear fabric (60% cotton, 40% polyester).
Protection and Operational Details:
Every detail has been studied to maximize performance. The collar features a main zipper with an internal windproof flap and a cover for the closed zip slider, drastically reducing annoying air infiltrations and protecting the neck from chafing. The use of reversed zippers along the entire shirt improves the fit and limits irritation during prolonged use.
Modularity and Security:
The shirt is equipped with large Velcro panels on the arms and chest, perfect for quickly attaching team patches, ranks, or IFF recognition systems. At the joint level, the elbows have reinforced pockets specifically shaped for the insertion of soft protectors (compatible with the Defcon 5 model, not included). Finally, the cuffs offer superior ergonomics: the double Velcro closure is combined with an internal elastic insert that keeps the sleeve in place even during the most hectic movements.
Sleeves up without hassle: Thanks to the elastic insert positioned on the cuffs, this shirt is phenomenal for those who love to play with bare forearms. When you roll up or pull up your sleeves in the hot months, the elastic will keep the fabric firmly under your elbow without creating that "tourniquet" effect typical of normal Velcro closures.
Invisible and operational elbow pads: Don't leave the reinforcement pockets on the elbows empty! If you don't have the original Defcon 5 pads, you can easily shape 5mm neoprene cutouts. You will have a protected joint on stones and gravel, without the external bulk of classic hard shell elbow pads.
Save the elasticity of the torso: The torso contains a precious 8% elastane, which is essential to guarantee adherence and breathability under the Plate Carrier. To prevent this fiber from yielding and turning the shirt into a "sack", always wash it in the washing machine cold (maximum 30°C) inside out and let it dry hanging in the air. No tumble dryer, ever!
