The "Hot Shot" hop-up bucking from Maple Leaf is a high-performance upgrade component, the non-silicone version of the well-known "Cool Shot", designed for two main applications:

  1. To be incorporated into the hop-up chambers and inner barrels of GHK gas rifles.
  2. To be used in AEG-type Hop-Up systems that have been modified or are compatible with the installation of GBB Maple Leaf inner barrels (such as the Crazy Jet).

Design Features and Performance:

  • Material (Non-Silicone): Unlike the "Cool Shot", the "Hot Shot" is made with a high-quality standard rubber/polymer compound, suitable for normal or warmer temperature conditions.
  • Advanced Contact Patch Design:
    • The main hop-up protrusion has a sharp V-shape, with a raised entry point that wraps around the BB for a stable grip and a square base for even tension.
    • It also features lateral triangular auxiliary protrusions that allow for more precise tension and better BB centering.
    • The release part is machined so that the contact surface becomes rapidly smaller towards the tip, promoting high accuracy.
  • Sealing and Consistency: Designed to improve air seal and reduce shot-to-shot inconsistency for a more predictable trajectory.

Hardness 50° (soft) is considered equivalent to an original Tokyo Marui bucking. Hardness 60° (normal) is tougher than a Marui and offers a stronger grip on the BB.
