Product Details

The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) – Mil-Spec model – is a drop-in stock reference for AR15/M16 carbines that use Mil-Spec extension tubes (buffer tube). Designed for fast and light action, its A-frame aerodynamic profile avoids entanglements and protects the release lever from accidental activations.

The CTR's distinctive feature is the Friction Lock (friction lock) system. This mechanism, once engaged, applies a constant pressure to the stock tube, minimizing excessive movement and wobble, and significantly improving the stability of the firing platform.

Ergonomics are ensured by an inclined cheek weld that combines a thin profile with comfort. Includes an ambidextrous QD (Quick Detach) attachment for buttons (up to 1.5"), 1.25" belt loops on the bottom, and a paracord hole. The 0.3" rubber pad prevents slipping, even on tactical gear.
