Maximum Protection Against the Elements:
Whether you're facing a Mil-Sim in pouring rain or trekking through wet grass, keeping your gear dry is vital. This waterproofing spray allows you to restore the original DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment of your garments or to make fabrics water-repellent that are not. Once applied and dried, the water will not be absorbed by the fabric, but will form droplets that will quickly slide off the surface.
Universal Use and Unaltered Breathability:
From leather or Cordura boots to Gore-Tex jackets, to the canvas of camping tents: this spray works safely on any material. Its greatest technical advantage is that it coats the individual fibers without "clogging" the pores of the fabric. This means that water does not enter from the outside, but sweat and body vapor can continue to escape, keeping the fundamental breathability of technical garments intact.
Quick Application and Ecological Formula:
The generous 500 ml (half liter!) size guarantees a sufficient supply to treat bulky equipment (such as an entire 3-person tent) or multiple pairs of shoes during the year. The aerosol system guarantees a fine and homogeneous spray, avoiding stains or product build-up. Furthermore, the formula is strictly CFC-Free (free of chlorofluorocarbons), to protect the ozone layer while offering very high-level chemical performance.
The rule of the clean surface: Want the waterproofing to last a long time? Never spray the product on boots dirty with mud or dusty jackets! Clean the surface well, let it dry completely, then spray the product keeping the can about 20-30 cm away. Make light and crossed passes. Let it air dry for at least 2-4 hours (even better overnight) before using the equipment in the rain.
Safety first (Outdoors only!): As you can see from the symbols on the can, we are talking about a highly flammable and powerful aerosol. Never use it in closed rooms or at home! Go out into the garden or on the balcony, make sure there is good air circulation and do not smoke during application. Your lungs (and your home) will thank you!
Pay attention to the seams: The fabric of your tent or tactical backpack may be waterproof from the factory, but water always finds its way through the holes created by the needles during sewing. When waterproofing your material, insist particularly along the main seams and around the edges of the zip fasteners: those are the real weak points to seal!
