The IMAX A3 20W (NiMH / NiCd) Charger is the simplest and most reliable "Plug & Play" solution for charging Nickel battery packs for your airsoft gun. Designed exclusively for 6V to 9.6V Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries (5-8 cells), it delivers up to 2A of current for fast and safe charging. Thanks to the integrated Mini Tamiya connector and the direct 230V wall power supply, it requires no programming: just plug it in and the three bright LED indicators will do the rest!

IMAX Simplicity and Reliability (Plug & Play):
If your AEG uses the classic and durable Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries (often supplied as standard with entry-level replicas), the IMAX A3 is the perfect charger for you. Forget complicated screens and abstruse settings: this device makes simplicity its strength. It is powered directly from the wall socket (230V) and, once the battery is connected via the Mini Tamiya connector, it autonomously manages the entire charging cycle, switching off when finished.
20W Power and LED Display:
Despite its compact size, the internal board delivers 20W of power, pushing up to 2 Amps of current. This allows you to charge your 8.4V or 9.6V batteries much faster than the very slow 300mA chargers included in the rifle boxes. The interface is based on an intuitive LED system: Orange light for Standby, Red light during charging and Green light to indicate that the battery is 100% charged and ready for the field.

Pro Maintenance Tips
RED ALERT: DO NOT CHARGE LI-POS! This charger is designed EXCLUSIVELY for the old Nickel chemistry (Ni-MH and Ni-Cd). Never try to connect a Li-Po, Li-Fe or Li-Ion battery to it! The charging curves are completely different and attaching a Lithium battery to this device will cause it to swell and catch fire. Only use it for classic Ni-MH "torpedoes"!
The Order of Factors (Very Important): To avoid voltage surges that could burn the circuit, always follow this sequence: 1) FIRST insert the plug into the wall socket (the LED will turn Orange). 2) THEN CONNECT the battery to the Mini Tamiya cable (the LED will turn Red). When charging is complete (Green LED), do the opposite: disconnect the battery first, and then remove the plug from the wall.
Do you have a rifle with Deans? Stop by the Workshop! The IMAX A3 comes from the factory with the white Mini Tamiya connector. If your Ni-MH battery has the red Deans (T-Plug) connector, do not use reducers that dissipate energy. Write it in the order notes and our workshop will cut the cable to weld a direct Deans connector to it, so you will have a clean and perfect current passage!
