Realistic Design and Robust Construction:
The MP9 (M&P9) series is famous for its superior ergonomics, and WE has built this magazine to fully reflect that excellence. The massive "Full Metal" body not only balances the pistol in your hand, but also acts as an excellent heat exchanger for Green Gas, minimizing the risk of "Cooldown" (freezing) during rapid firing sessions. The polymer bottom plate integrates perfectly with the lines of the grip, ensuring lightning-fast extractions and insertions.
WE Reliability and Marui Compatibility:
The filling mechanism and internal seals (O-Rings) have been developed by WE with an absolute focus on reliability, minimizing the risk of gas leaks. The locking tooth guarantees a secure lock, eliminating accidental drops during the most intense engagements. The real ace in the hole of this magazine, however, is its versatility: sharing the same mechanical architecture, it is the ideal spare magazine not only for WE "Big Bird" pistols, but also for the excellent Smith & Wesson M&P9 from Tokyo Marui.
Big Bird or M&P9? Let's clarify: If you are looking for a magazine for your Smith & Wesson M&P9 from WE but see "Big Bird" written, don't worry, you're in the right place! WE uses the code name "Big Bird" simply for licensing issues on the original brands, but the pistol is exactly the replica of the famous American M&P9.
Attention if you have a Marui: As we said, this magazine fits like a glove on the M&P9 from Tokyo Marui. Remember, however, that Marui pistols have a polymer (ABS) slide. Since this WE magazine is optimized to handle Green Gas and heavy metal slides, on Marui pistols we recommend using less powerful gases (such as 130 PSI or lower summer gases) to avoid breaking the Japanese slide with too violent blowback.
Take care of your O-Rings: The fundamental rule of gas never changes: at the end of Sunday, never empty the magazine by pressing the rear valve! The vent transforms the gas into ice and ruins the seals. Always store the magazine with a little Green Gas inside: the pressure will keep the seals in place and the silicone oil will nourish them for the next game.
