The Box of 50 8mm NIK Caliber Blank Rounds from Fiocchi is the ultimate ammunition for semi-automatic blank firing pistols. Nickel-Plated Reliability (Zero Jams):
In semi-automatic blank firing pistols (blowback), the casing ejection cycle is the most critical moment. Fiocchi has solved the jamming problem by creating the "NIK" line. These casings, instead of being in simple raw brass, undergo a nickel plating treatment that makes them silver in color. This finish eliminates friction in the chamber, allowing your pistol to eject the empty casing and chamber the next one with impressive fluidity, even during rapid fire.
Cup Closure for Perfect Cycling:
Unlike rounds for revolvers that use a star closure, this 8mm caliber uses the "cup closure" (recognizable by the green plastic cap on the tip). This technical design serves to retain the gas pressure for a moment longer inside the obstructed barrel. This "return" pressure is the vital energy that pushes back the heavy metal slide of your pistol, perfectly simulating the recoil and action of a real firearm.

Pro Tips
WARNING: Only for Semi-Automatics (Blowback)! This 8mm caliber is designed specifically for classic blank firing pistols that replicate modern weapons (e.g. Beretta 92, Glock, etc.) equipped with a magazine inserted in the grip. The smooth casing without a flange is absolutely not suitable for revolver drums. Before purchasing, check that "Cal. 8mm" is written on the barrel or slide of your replica!
Cleaning is Vital: The cup closure is fantastic for cycling the weapon, but when the green cap disintegrates due to pressure, in addition to powder residue, it releases microscopic fragments of molten plastic into the barrel and mechanism. If you do not lubricate the pistol after each session, this dirt will block the recoil spring and the extractor. A good silicone spray oil is your best friend!
Golden Rule for Safety: Never forget it: THEY ARE NOT TOYS. At the moment of firing, a burst of hot gas at very high pressure comes out of the barrel. NEVER point a blank firing pistol less than one and a half meters away from people or animals, the pressure jet can cause serious injury!
