Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup
1. The Collar Trick: If you play in dense woodland or very dusty environments, keep the collar up and closed. In addition to giving you an unmistakable Marine look, it will protect you from branches, thorns, insects, and prevent annoying stray BBs from getting inside your jacket during close-quarters engagements!
2. Marpat Pairing: For a total camouflage effect, combine this shirt with a "Boonie Hat" also in Marpat pattern. The peculiarity of the Marpat digital pattern is that it works very well with shadows: avoiding glossy or bulky helmets and preferring soft headgear helps to make the profile of the head almost invisible in the woods.
3. Washing and Color: The Marpat pattern is very beautiful but, due to the cotton component, it can fade if washed incorrectly. Always wash the shirt inside out and use a detergent for colored garments without bleach. A secret? At the first wash, put a tablespoon of coarse salt in the drum: it will help to "fix" the digital colors of the Marpat camouflage to the fibers.
