Worn in close contact with the body, it acts as a second skin, transferring water vapor to the outer layers (Level 2 or uniform), preventing hypothermia during periods of inactivity in the cold.

Pro Tips for a Perfect Setup
The advantage of the thumbhole: If you've ever tried to pull a tight fleece or combat shirt over a long-sleeved shirt, you know how annoying it is to feel the undershirt sleeve ride up to your elbow and get stuck. By inserting your thumb into the dedicated hole of this Level I, you will lock the sleeve in tension: you can put on your uniform, Level 2, or heavy jackets in a second, keeping your wrist always protected. Once dressed, you can remove your thumb or keep it in to protect the back of your hand from cold and chafing from tactical gloves.
No cotton under your tactical gear! Let's repeat the golden rule: the classic cotton undershirt is the number one enemy in winter airsoft. Cotton absorbs sweat and retains it, cooling down quickly. Use this polyester shirt as the very first layer in contact with your skin to ensure impeccable thermoregulation.
