Detailed Description
The TX-3 Sling produced by Invader Gear is a "problem solver" tactical accessory, born to meet a specific need of airsoft players: how to comfortably attach a sling to rifles that do not have modern QD mounts or wide standard loops. Historic and iconic replicas such as the MP5 series, G3 battle rifles, SIG 550 series, or Steyr AUGs often feature very narrow sling slots or ones positioned at angles where a classic metal snap hook would get stuck, make noise, or scratch the paint.
Invader Gear has overcome this problem by equipping the TX-3's metal snap hooks with special nylon webbing adapters. One end features a loop closed by a tenacious snap button, the other by an adjustable webbing strap with a sliding buckle. The operator simply needs to thread these soft straps through the replica's loops and close them. This way, the rifle is secured to nylon and not metal, resulting in a "stealth" setup (completely silent) and safeguarding the weapon's aesthetics. The sling has a width of 3.2 cm, ideal for preventing neck discomfort, and a length of 108 cm to fit any body type.

Pro Tips:
How to correctly mount the adapters: If you've just bought a beautiful MP5 or G3, don't make the mistake of attaching the metal of the sling directly to the rifle's loop! Take the adapter with the snap button, unclip it, thread the strap through the rifle's front loop, and close it. Do the same with the rear webbing, loosening the plastic buckle to pass it through the stock's slot. You will get a clean, incredibly secure setup that won't make the slightest sound while you run through the woods.
A sling that evolves with you: The beauty of the TX-3 is that you're not limited to using it only on "old school" replicas. If tomorrow you decide to buy a SCAR or an M4 equipped with wide loops or rear plates, you don't have to discard the sling. You just need to slide the two webbing adapters off the metal snap hooks (the black snap clips) and use the latter to attach the sling in the traditional way. You essentially have two slings in one!
