The T8 Specter LE Zip is born to dominate the urban environment. Whether you're on city patrol, in dynamic service, or on a static guard shift, this boot offers unparalleled comfort. The upper in premium 1.8 mm full-grain leather guarantees extreme durability and resistance, while the smooth toe is easily polished to meet the strict aesthetic and uniformity standards of the departments. The polyester inserts ensure excellent breathability to keep the foot cool and dry.
Lightning-Fast Fit (Zip + Laces System):
When the alarm goes off, every second counts. Garmont has implemented a hybrid closure system: the traditional front laces allow you to perfectly calibrate the tension on the instep, but the real convenience is the robust side zipper (Zip) protected by a Velcro safety strap. Once the laces are adjusted, you only need to use the zip to put on or take off the boots in an instant, without ever having to retie the knot.
D3O® Technology and GTF™ Magnet Sole:

Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup
How to use a boot with a Zip: Many people make mistakes and continue to use the laces! The correct operating method is this: open the side zip and loosen the laces. Insert your foot, close the zip to the top and secure the Velcro. Only now, pull the laces and tie a nice tight knot. From this moment on, forget about the laces! To remove and put on the boot, use the zip exclusively. This way you will have the perfect tension created by the laces, but the speed of a slip-on shoe.
The magic of D3O on asphalt: Those who work in security (GPG, Police) spend 80% of their time standing on hard surfaces: concrete, asphalt, tiles. These surfaces do not absorb the energy of the step, sending it all back to the knees and back. The D3O® material in this boot dissipates that kinetic energy, reducing micro-vibrations. You will arrive at the end of the shift with much less heavy legs!
Polishing (Elbow grease pays off!): The full-grain leather on the toe is made specifically to shine. To maintain an impeccable inspection look, clean the toe with a damp cloth to remove dust, then spread a thin layer of black paste polish (avoid liquid self-polishing sponges that dry out the skin!). Let it dry for a couple of minutes and polish vigorously with a horsehair brush or with a soft microfiber or cotton cloth. The boot will literally look like a mirror.
