Historical Charm, Modern Mechanics:
The TT-33 Tokarev is a piece of history, but to dominate the airsoft field, you need modern reliability. WE has created this magazine by combining a realistic and "raw" aesthetic, typical of Eastern European weapons, with a high-quality, one-piece metal construction. The internal seals and the charging valve have been updated to minimize gas leaks and offer optimal sealing, ensuring a crisp and satisfying recoil (blowback) with every shot.
Slim (Single Stack) Design and Ergonomics:
Respecting the dimensions of the real firearm, this magazine has an extremely slim and flat profile (single stack). The bottom plate is equipped with the classic lanyard loop, an aesthetic and functional detail that is essential for those who do historical reenactment or simply want to secure the magazine to their belt to avoid losing it in the vegetation. The engagement in the pistol frame is clean and firm, eliminating unwanted movements during action.
The problem with historical weapons (Cooldown): Since the TT-33 is an "old school" pistol, its magazine is very narrow. This means that the internal gas reservoir has a very small volume. If you fire all 14 rounds in compulsive bursts, the magazine will freeze in a few seconds (Cooldown effect) and the pistol will vent gas. Use these historical replicas as they should be used: aim well, give a second of breath between shots to allow the gas to regain pressure, and everything will be fine!
14 or 15 rounds? The eternal dilemma: Some WE manuals report 15 rounds, others 14. We give you a golden tip: stop at 14. Inserting the last BB by force unnecessarily stresses the spring and pushes too much on the upper lips (feed lips). Keeping the magazine at 14 rounds ensures perfect feeding and saves the plastic components from premature breakage.
Gasket issue: Do you see the ring on the bottom? Use it to extract the magazine, not to slam it around! And above all, at the end of Sunday, remember the basic rule of the Gas world: always leave a small charge of Green Gas inside the tank before putting it in the box. The pressure will keep the seals soft and prevent annoying leaks at the next game.
