The Mesh GHILLIE Base by Invader Gear is a minimalist and ultra-lightweight (only 370 grams) camouflage platform. Structured with a hybrid bolero and cape design, it is made entirely of durable wide-mesh (single-tone mesh), offering absolute breathability and a perfect base for weaving jute, 3D fabrics, or natural vegetation. Equipped with a moldable hood compatible with helmets and a front closure that does not obstruct access to tactical gear.

Hybrid Design (Bolero + Cape):
The cut combines the advantages of a Viper Hood with those of a traditional Ghillie. The bolero-style front leaves the chest free, allowing you to instantly access the magazines and radios of your Chest Rig or Plate Carrier, thanks to a closure system with adjustable double chest buckles. At the rear, the extended cape completely covers the back, breaking up the operator's silhouette and hiding any assault backpacks, making it perfect for stalking in the prone position.
Tactical Hood and Advanced Adjustments:
The oversized hood is entirely made of mesh and guarantees unbeatable ventilation, as well as being large enough to accommodate a ballistic helmet. The front edge integrates a flexible moldable wire that allows you to shape the visor to adapt it to the use of optics. Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup
The ultimate setup for summer Milsim: If you play in temperatures above 30 degrees and don't want to give up the role of sniper or scout, this mesh base is the only sensible choice. The air will pass through you completely! Wear it over a lightweight combat shirt and weave only a minimal amount of 3D leaves on the back and hood: you will be invisible but will continue to breathe.
Create your natural "Killflash": Take advantage of the moldable visor! Bend the metal wire integrated into the hood downwards, forming a sort of pronounced visor above the optics of your rifle. Add some ferns or jute to it: you will block the reflections of the sun on the lens of the sight and hide the movements of your eyes, a detail that often betrays the most experienced snipers.
The rule of progressive weaving: Being a completely empty base, don't make the mistake of filling it with synthetic jute at home, turning it into a heavy carpet. Prepare a 30% base at home using elastic materials and neutral colors, and leave the remaining 70% free to insert twigs, tall grass and branches that you will find directly on the playing field on the morning of the event. Only local nature will give you the perfect camouflage.
