This 5KU RIS Mount is an accessory designed for airsoft replicas of the AK series. It installs in place of the original rear sight (the graduated leaf), converting the rear sight base into a standard Picatinny/RIS rail section (20mm).
Function and Use:
- Allows you to mount low-profile optics (red dot, micro dot, etc.) directly above the rear receiver, further back than rails mounted on the gas tube and lower than traditional side mounts.
- Offers a solution for mounting an optic without having to replace the dust cover with one equipped with a rail or using a side adapter.
