This floor plate catch from WE Tech is an original spare part (OEM), identified as Part No. 66 in the manufacturer's exploded views. It is specifically designed for magazines of Gas Blowback (GBB) airsoft pistols of the Glock series produced by WE (including models R17, R18, R19 and other compatible models).
This small polymer component is located at the base of the magazine, under the spring, and has the fundamental function of locking the floor plate (the metal or plastic base) of the magazine, preventing it from accidentally slipping off. With use or in the event of impacts, this catch can break, causing the floor plate to detach and the consequent loss of the spring and BB pusher.
Replacing this part with an original WE spare part restores the safety and structural integrity of your magazine.
