Power and Reliability P.A.K. in Brass:
The 9mm P.A.K. (Pistole Automatik Knall) caliber is the worldwide standard for semi-automatic blank guns that replicate modern firearms in 1:1 scale. To cycle such heavy metal slides, considerable energy is required. Fiocchi has designed these rounds using the highest quality pure brass casings, which guarantee perfect expansion and extraction from the chamber, eliminating the risk of jams typical of budget sub-brands.
Optimized Pressure (Cup Closure):
To simulate the recoil of a real 9mm caliber weapon, the primer and gunpowder work in synergy with the robust cup closure (the green plastic cap). When fired, the cup retains the gases for a moment longer inside the partially obstructed barrel: this pressure peak pushes back the cycling slide and ejects the casing, simultaneously releasing a spectacular flame and a detonation with a very strong deterrent power.
WARNING - Read the barrel! The most common mistake? Buying 9mm rounds for an 8mm gun (or vice versa). The 9mm P.A.K. (9x22) is longer and wider than the 8mm! If you have an 8mm caliber blank gun, these rounds will not fit in the magazine. Always check the wording printed on the slide or barrel of your weapon before ordering them. Also remember that, not having the flange on the bottom, they are NOT suitable for revolvers.
Lubricate without mercy: A 9mm blank round generates a lot of dirt. Unburned powder and residues from the green plastic cup will deposit on the feed ramp and in the barrel. If you fire an entire magazine in rapid bursts, we strongly recommend disassembling the weapon at the end of the day and cleaning it with a brush and spray oil, otherwise the barrel will become irreparably encrusted!
Use earplugs! The bang of a 9mm P.A.K. indoors or in confined spaces easily exceeds safe hearing levels. If you use these rounds to train hunting dogs or to shoot scenes from a movie, always wear good hearing protection (maybe the Earmor plugs we have in our catalog!) and do not point the weapon near people or animals.
