The shoulder pads are sewn with an IRR-treated Cordura 500D laminate and filled with closed-cell foam for improved ergonomics. They are designed to distribute the excess weight of the loaded plate carrier and improve thermal comfort. Additional padded Velcro flaps and elastics allow the installation of hydration tubes or communication cables.
