Operational Space and Organization:
The DEFCON 5 Tactical Bull Backpack was conceived for operators who need to carry vital equipment without sacrificing mobility. Its 38-liter capacity is divided in an extremely rational way: the 2 large main pockets are perfect for housing bulkier (spare clothing, BBs, gas) or fragile gear, while the 3 external secondary pockets allow for fractional storage and keeping quick-access accessories like flashlights, multi-tools, maps, and medical kits always at hand.
Durability and Modularity (600D and MOLLE):
Built to last, the Bull Backpack is made from durable 600 Denier fabric, a material that offers an excellent compromise between water resistance, lightness (only 1.25 kg empty), and abrasion resistance. The entire front and side surface of the backpack is covered with MOLLE webbing, allowing you to attach additional pouches (utility, extra magazine pouches, or medkits) to customize your setup based on specific mission needs.
Prepared for Communications and Hydration:
DEFCON 5 has integrated essential details for field use. The back panel houses a dedicated pocket for a hydration bladder (fundamental for long movements or 24-hour tournaments). Furthermore, the top of the backpack is equipped with 2 protected exit holes: you can easily pass the water tube and your radio's antennas or PTT cables without leaving wires exposed or zippers half-open.
Pro Tips
Master your load: The Bull Backpack's 38 liters are the perfect size for long tournaments (from 12h to 24h). You have plenty of space, but the secret is knowing how to manage it! The golden rule is to use the side compression straps (the ones with plastic clips you see on the sides). If you're on a short skirmish and the backpack is half empty, pull those straps as tight as possible: the backpack will become flat and snug against your back, preventing internal gear from "bouncing" and unbalancing you or making noise while running.
No dangling cables: The hydration bladder provision and the two top holes aren't just for show. When playing in wooded areas, a radio cable or water tube left dangling out of a half-open zipper is the quickest way to get snagged on a thorn bush and tear everything. Tuck your radio into the main pocket, route the antenna and PTT cable directly through the dedicated holes, and slide them along the padded shoulder straps: you'll have a clean, professional, and 100% snag-free profile!
