This FPS AIR BRAKE piston head is a high-quality upgrade component, designed and manufactured in Italy (100% Made in Italy) to improve the performance and, above all, the silence of electric airsoft guns (AEGs).

Main Features:

  • Material: Made of POM (Polyoxymethylene), a technical polymer with excellent mechanical properties and a low coefficient of friction.
  • Double O-ring: Guarantees a superior air seal compared to piston heads with a single O-ring.
  • Thrust bearing: Reduces friction and stress on the spring during the firing cycle.
  • AIR BRAKE System: This system creates an "air cushion" between the piston head and the cylinder head, dampening the impact and drastically reducing noise. It is the quietest piston head produced by FPS, recommended for bursts up to 24 BBs per second.
  • AOE (Angle of Engagement) Adjustment: Includes shims (1, 2, 3 and 4mm) to adjust the length of the piston/piston head assembly and find the best possible angle of engagement with the teeth of the sector gear. A correct AOE is fundamental for the durability and reliability of the gearbox. The piston head can also be used without shims.
