This FPS piston head is a high-quality upgrade component, designed and manufactured in Italy (100% Made in Italy) to improve the performance and reliability of electric airsoft replicas (AEGs).
Main Features:
- Material: Made of POM (Polyoxymethylene), a technical polymer with excellent mechanical properties and a low coefficient of friction.
- Double O-ring: Guarantees superior air seal.
- Thrust bearing: Reduces friction and stress on the spring.
- AOE (Angle of Engagement) Adjustment: Includes shims (1, 2, 3 and 4mm) to adjust the length of the piston/piston head assembly and find the best possible angle of engagement with the teeth of the sector gear. A correct AOE is fundamental for the durability and reliability of the gearbox. The piston head can also be used without shims.
- Lightweight: The lightweight design and POM material help reduce the weight of the "striking mass" (piston + piston head), decreasing mechanical stress and noise, especially at high rates of fire.
