- NEUTRAL Variant: Completely transparent and colorless. It is the universal option, ideal for trekking boots, mountain footwear and boots of any shade (Coyote, Desert, Green, Brown).
- BLACK Variant: Enriched with intense dark pigments. It was specifically designed for tactical boots of the Task Force line (Law Enforcement and Military) and black smooth leather safety shoes. Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup

ATTENTION TO SUEDE (Read carefully!): Do you have a pair of Lowa Zephyrs in suede and want to use this cream? Stop for a moment! Active Creme is a phenomenal wax, but if you apply it to suede (or Nubuck), the "hair" of the suede will flatten and become smooth, dark and shiny, completely changing the aesthetics of the shoe. If you want to maintain the original suede effect of your boots, use ONLY the Water Stop spray. Reserve this cream for smooth leather shoes (or use it on suede only if you don't care about the aesthetics but want maximum extreme waterproof protection!).

LOWA's "Two-Step" Routine: To have literally invincible boots, the manufacturer recommends a precise procedure. Step 1: With a clean shoe, apply LOWA Active Creme with a microfiber cloth or a soft brush, massaging it well into the seams and folds to nourish the leather. Let it absorb. Step 2: When the cream is dry, give it a nice final spray of LOWA Water Stop Pro. This way you will have nourished the inside of the skin and sealed the outside against water. Absolute perfection.

Don't overdo it with the quantities: A common mistake is to empty half a tube on a boot thinking that "more is better". Wrong! The skin has an absorption limit. Apply only a very thin veil of cream and pull it well with the cloth. If you put too much, the skin will not be able to breathe, the pores of the Gore-Tex will be blocked and the boot will become a sweat trap.
