This FPS piston head is a high-quality upgrade component, designed and manufactured in Italy (100% Made in Italy) to improve the performance and reliability of electric airsoft guns (AEGs).
Main Features:
- Material: Made of POM (Polyoxymethylene), a technical polymer with excellent mechanical properties, a low coefficient of friction, and self-lubricating properties, making it perfect for this application.
- X-RING: Equipped with an X-RING which, thanks to its four-lobed section, guarantees superior air seal, less wear, and a lubricant reservoir compared to traditional O-rings. This results in greater shot consistency and reduced maintenance.
- Thrust bearing: Reduces friction and stress on the spring during the firing cycle, improving the efficiency and lifespan of the components.
- AOE (Angle of Engagement) Adjustment: Includes shims (1, 2, 3, and 4mm) to adjust the length of the piston/piston head assembly and find the best possible angle of engagement with the teeth of the sector gear. A correct AOE is essential for the durability and reliability of the gearbox, as it distributes stress evenly across the teeth of the piston and gear. The piston head can also be used without shims, as a normal piston head.
