Product Details

This FPS spring is a high-quality component, 100% Made in Italy, designed and specifically calibrated for the original mechanics of the WELL MB03 airsoft sniper rifle.

Materials and Construction:

Material: Burnished and pre-tempered carbon steel wire, with the addition of silicon and chromium (EN10270 / 2), for maximum strength and durability.
Heat Treatment: After forming, the spring is stabilized in an oven at 400°C for 30 minutes, optimizing its lifespan and maintaining consistent performance.
Variable Pitch Design: Features variable pitch coils in the central area and in the area in contact with the spring guide, for smoother compression and optimal release.
Ground Ends: The two ends of the spring are ground to ensure a flat support and optimal performance during compression.

Calibration and Performance:

The indicated power (e.g. 100 m/s, 120 m/s) has been calibrated using the original WELL MB03 mechanics.
Variations: The actual performance (FPS/Joule) will vary based on:
- Barrel length: Shorter barrels = lower performance; longer barrels = higher performance.
- Air seal: The quality of the air group seal significantly affects the power.
Bearings: The calibration does not take into account any thickness added by bearings on the spring guide or piston head. An increase of approximately 2.5 m/s is estimated for each bearing used.
