This RetroArms piston is a redesigned upgrade component made with a new and robust polymer material, specifically for the Tokyo Marui M4 Next Generation Recoil Shock (NGRS) platform. It is the ideal choice for tuners looking for maximum reliability and an optimized base for tuning.
Features and Design:
- 14.5 Tooth Design for AoE Correction: The rack features a "14 and a half teeth" design (the first tooth is partially removed). This configuration is deliberately designed to facilitate the correct adjustment of the Angle of Engagement (AoE), a fundamental step to dramatically increase the lifespan of the piston and gears in upgraded replicas. (It may still be necessary to remove additional material depending on the configuration).
- Quality Materials: The body is made of a new and robust polymer, while the rack is made of steel. The rack is produced with a high standard of straightness and fits perfectly into the piston body, so much so that it does not necessarily require the use of adhesives.
- Narrow Inner Diameter: The piston has a reduced inner diameter of 15.4mm. This feature makes it extremely stable, but may limit its compatibility with some thrust bearings or shims for third-party piston heads. For this reason, RetroArms includes a dedicated screw.
