Ergonomics, Stability, and Stretch Materials:
The BULLDOG model has been designed to support the biomechanics of the operator under stress. The basic structure uses a stretch fabric combined with heavy reinforcement seams in critical points (such as the rear area and knees). The waistband features internal padding for maximum comfort and is adjustable to the millimeter via a hook and loop system. The oversized 5 cm loops have been designed to easily accommodate rigid tactical belts (Rigger Belt) and support heavy loads such as holsters and utility pouches.
Operational Ventilation System (Air-Flow):
One of the most exclusive and appreciated features of these pants is their thermoregulation system. Along the inside of the thighs and on the leg, there are hidden ventilation zippers. Opening them during approach marches, summer patrols, or high cardio activities creates an immediate airflow that drastically lowers body temperature and reduces sweating, keeping the operator clear-headed and dry.
Cordura® Protection and Reliability:
The safety of the joints is entrusted to special knee compartments, lined with a layer of padded Cordura® with very high resistance to abrasion. These pockets are designed to accommodate additional protective inserts (compatible with the Defcon 5 D5-KP3171 model). All the small parts and main closures are guaranteed by the use of original YKK zippers, a worldwide synonym for indestructibility. The leg bottom is finally adjustable to seal the pants around the boots.
Manage the air vents tactically: The ventilation zippers on the thighs are a blessing under the summer sun, but use them intelligently. Open them completely during long marches on dirt roads or in urban environments to let your legs breathe. But remember to close them immediately when you have to throw yourself in tall grass or crawl in dense undergrowth, to prevent ticks, insects, or thorns from entering the pants!
"Built-in" protection: Unlike other pants that necessarily require the purchase of rigid knee pads separately, the Bulldog already has a padded knee area covered in Cordura. For normal Sunday woodland games, this standard padding is more than enough to kneel comfortably on the ground and roots, saving you from buying additional pads.
Support the weight: These pants weigh almost 1 kg when empty (thanks to the reinforced fabrics and padding) and the 5 cm wide loops strongly call for a suitable belt. Do not use thin or civilian belts: combine the Bulldog with a rigid Rigger Belt. In this way, the weight of the pants (and the objects in the cargo pockets) will be perfectly discharged on the hips, preventing them from falling during quick sprints.
