Operational Readiness (Double Closure):
Time is a critical factor in every intervention. The Contact 6 WP solves the eternal dilemma between the support of a laced boot and the speed of a slip-on boot thanks to the Double Closure system. Adjust the front laces the first time to adapt the upper perfectly to your instep; after that, use exclusively the practical and robust side zip (secured by a protective Velcro® band) to put on and take off the boot in an instant, maintaining the stability of the ankle.
Waterproof and Resistance (G-DRY):
The upper, made of highly breathable polyester and reinforced with seamless TPU inserts, is lined internally with Garmont's G-DRY membrane. This technology offers extraordinary protection from water (up to 10,000 mm water column) and wind, ensuring constantly dry and thermo-regulated feet even during long patrol shifts under torrential rain or in environments saturated with humidity.
Certified Grip and Safety (Vibram® & Add®):
Designed to dominate asphalt, concrete, and uneven terrain, these boots mount the Vibram® TACTOOR sole with the innovative Traction Lug technology, capable of increasing traction by 25%. In combination with the anatomical a.d.d.® design and the antistatic EVA insole, the boot cushions impacts and dissipates electrostatic charges. Pro Maintenance Tips for a Perfect Setup
The perfect compromise (The 6 Inches): If you are undecided between the low boot (4") and the classic high boot (8"), the 6-inch cut of the Contact 6 WP is literally the best of both worlds. It offers much more ankle stability than a low shoe, preventing sprains on uneven terrain or during sudden sprints, but it is not bulky or rigid on the calf like an 8-inch boot, especially when you have to drive the service car for several hours.
Do not invalidate the antistatic approval: Just like the 4-inch models, this boot uses a special EVA insole crossed by a conductive thread. This system discharges static electricity to the ground, protecting you from annoying "shocks" and is vital in hazardous environments. If you replace the original insole with a standard aftermarket gel insole, you interrupt the circuit: the shoe will still be very comfortable, but you will lose the certification and antistatic protection!
